BOSTON (MarketWatch) -- New York Mayor Michael Bloomberg and fellow billionaire George Soros plan to launch a $126.5 million public/private initiative in New York City area to help poor, young African-American and Latino males break out of cycles of poverty and violence, according to Fox News. Under the initiative, Bloomberg and Soros will each personally contribute $30 million, with the remaining $67.5 million coming from public funds. The program will serve roughly 300,000 minority males between the ages of 16 and 24. The initiative will focus on increasing school graduation rates, improving access to medical and reproductive healthcare, providing mentoring services for young men out on parole, and job training, according to Fox
