Is it really your money?
THIS HAS NOTHING
TO DO WITH #OccupyWallStreet

From what we can gather, according to eye witness testimony, St. Louis PD has barricaded the Bank of America building and is refusing customer access to deposits.
Eye witness account:
‘They would not let me get past that barricade, where those three guys are. I talked to the liutenant of the St. Louis Police Department – and he said they [customers?] don’t have a legal right – but he was going to try to work out something, a symbolic gesture where eight people to pull out their money, I being one of them.’
He came back later and said they [BofA] will not go along with that. You will have to withdraw your money online.’
Note that the Bank of America web site has been intermittently in and out of service for the last 72 hours, making it difficult, if not impossible for customers to access their accounts.

This picture and story is from the Midwest Rising event on August 10 in St. Louis. http://convergence2011.org/
The protestors were protesting Bank of America because of their ties to Big Coal. They wanted to close their bank accounts in protest.
It is correct to say they were not allowed to do so, but SWAT was never used to prevent them access to the bank. They were on site however if things got out of hand as had happened in London.
This is an OLD story and in no way related to the current issues that Bank of America has with debit card fees.

Thank you for the clarity on the time frame. But do please notice no where in the story is the Wall Street issue mentioned. The Tweet was tagged with #|OccupyWallStreet due to the actual similarity and the Use of Run on the Bank issued by (Dem) Senator Dick Durbin on the floor yesterday. Treasonous it is!

Please forgive my ignorance of the laws in this matter….but I have to ask: Why exactly are they not allowed to close their bank accounts if they desire to do so?

Show me the inaccuracies. SWAT was in fact at the scene. Uniformed police did do as this gentleman stated.
And if they will do this here, what makes you so confident they wont do it after Anonymous takes out the NYSE on October 10th?
This Crap Story is a warning to those of us awake enough to see the handwriting on the wall!

I see that the video has an old date, but there’s some confirmation that swat is present here: http://plymouthdailynews.com/occupy-boston-joins-wall-street-protest-movement-14489
Think we need to get this clarified and possibly public if it is happening ASAP.
