in 2006 Bush was told not to push open elections in Gaza and the West bank. He ignored the warnings and Hamas was elected democratically and openly. Egypt has now had democratic elections and they have elected the Muslim Brotherhood. Democracy is a bitch when they vote for the guy you don’t want. Happens the same in Egypt, The West Bank and Virginia.
