Come on this is a joke and the way the Repubs think they can deal with it is by saying Medicare cuts are blood? Here is the ad which will run even after Romney loses and they do not have anything to rebut it. In media perceptions are always more important than reality, ask Reagan or ask John Kerry.
Might want to read an interesting book called Laws of Media by McLuhan written way before social and ubiquitous media emerged. It is all about how messages emerged, reverse, retrieve.

Irony at its absolute finest. The Republicans, who started two wars that resulted in the death of thousands, have the gall to use the term “blood on their hands” for a monetary decision. Even if that was true, the President with “blood on his hands” isn’t Obama. That would be George Bush. At least Bush was only the cause of lost lives. The war in Iraq and Afghanistan was free, right? After exploring your site further, I have decided not to respond to your rant against me and my daughter, in the way I had originally felt I should. I read of your financial troubles, and the possibility that you may lose your home. Who is to blame for that is probably very complicated and something only you know, but it is irrelevant when someone is facing the issues you seem to be facing. I haven’t experienced negative financial issues during Obama’s presidency, and I have never faced losing my business or home, so our experiences are obviously very different. I have also never received government assistance of any sort, including, but not limited to un-employment, welfare, food stamps, etc. My husband and I have both been to college, and have had worked consistently. (I no longer do because I have an infant) I am not “Pro-Obama” by choice. If there were a third choice, I would probably vote for them. I firmly believe that the only way to elect an honest, fair, and worthwhile politician, is to not elect a politician. Your assumptions about all so called “liberals” is truly misinformed. I live in a very liberal city, and I have mostly liberal friends, and everyone has jobs and they expect others to do the same. Conservatives are always referring to all the “liberals” that are jobless and on welfare without any intention of changing that. I have actually never met a single one of those “liberals”, so perhaps we need to redefine the word. If there are indeed all of these “liberals” that are lazy, jobless, and laughing while they cash their government checks, I need to start referring to myself as something else. I also think people like that should be forced into some sort of work, jailed, or left to their own devices. Unfortunately, when there are children involved,leaving them to their own devices isn’t a choice.
You and I will never agree on much, and that is not my intent. I just wanted to point out how the assumptions you are making about all “liberals”, and their beliefs is hopelessly flawed. I don’t hate the idea of corporations, and having money is wonderful. My issue with corporations are their lack of ethics and accountability. Monsanto and Dow being two examples of utter disregard for anything but profit. That includes human life. Those two examples are extreme, and just like you make assumptions about me, I have to remind myself that most people who consider themselves Republicans are not the leaders of the corporations that are hopelessly corrupt, and they aren’t the people representing them on TV. Whether you choose to see it or not, men like Mitt Romney care nothing for you or the situation you are in. They never have, they never will. They pretend to right now because they need your vote, but they are looking out for a VERY small group of people. Yet somehow, they have never been questioned by their own party about that. Wouldn’t you want to see Mitt Romney’s taxes? And if there wasn’t something to hide, wouldn’t he release them? And if he is hiding something, which would most likely be tax evasion in some form, wouldn’t that really piss you off that you could lose your house, and a person that has hundreds of millions of dollars cheats on their taxes? This is what I simply can’t understand about the majority of Republicans. If your main issue is money and people contributing and not taking, then why wouldn’t you be concerned with the high ranking members of your party that are notorious for doing things like this? How can you possibly reconcile an act like that to the situation you are in? I obviously don’t think being a democrat is the answer. There really is no answer until we move away from voting on parties, to voting on issues.
Just like most people, we plan to educate our daughter, and prepare her to be a contributing member of society. I would assume that most people do. The biggest lesson I want her to learn concerning finances is that people are always more important than money. And that being rich is wonderful, and so is striving for that, but if it forces you to do things that hurt other people, then it becomes a problem. I hardly imagine that will turn her into a “communist”.
I truly wish you well, and I hope that your financial situation improves no matter who is in the White House. I hope you also realize that name calling and assumptions never have, and never will solve anything.

I would have voted for Ron Paul also. So here in lies our real issue. You and I, two very different people, are not even given a true opportunity to elect the person we want to run our country. How many other people do you think are like us? Instead of allowing us to vote for someone based on issues, we are forced to vote based on “parties” that make up our mind for us. The few people that do have a say realize that they are forcing us into a “which one is worse” situation. It isn’t just our POTUS that needs to change. It is our entire political system. We shouldn’t be forced to pick the candidate we hate the least. That has to change. I just don’t know how it will.
